Full Blood Stud Belted Galloways
Aloncaws is a registered Belted Galloway stud, breeding quality, full blood Belted Galloway stud animals. The bulk of our breeding animals are registered with the Australian Belted Galloway Association
It was by chance that we changed from our long term plan of buying a couple of cows and a bull and "working up to" breeding 'belties' to moving that plan forward several years. We are presently running in excess of fifteen stud cattle (both black and red) from a variety of bloodlines, with breeding plans in place for both next season and the season after.
We breed for temperament, beef quality and all the usual top quality 'beltie' attributes We hand feed our cattle, and muster on foot - cattle that are not quiet and easy to handle are not an option here! We enjoy our beef, and seek to breed for excellent eating quality produced solely on grass - grain free, just the way cattle were intended to be.

From time to time, we will be selling breeding animals. If you are interested in our genetics, please contact us to discuss your plans - we are happy to keep a list of interested people and contact you if we have something that might suit you. We run both an "A" Grade stud herd, and a commercial herd, and currently have animals for sale from both herds. We will be posting animals for sale here shortly.
