We are Aloncaws....
We are a couple of busy professionals who live and work in the beautiful city of Brisbane - some of the time! We are blessed with a beautiful property in northern NSW and spend as much of our time there caring for our little corner of the world as is possible.
We believe that growing good food is only possible when we care for the land growing the food.
We believe that soaking the land in chemicals is not the best possible outcome for the land, or the animals on the land, nor for the people that eat the produce of that land. We are working towards an organic operation.
We believe that well cared for, relaxed cattle are tasty cattle - we know all our stock by name, hand feed them, and use low stress cattle handling techniques.
We believe that good quality food shouldn't break the bank - and that every family benefits from knowing the farmer that produces their food.
We believe that Belted Galloways are fabulous animals with excellent properties. Check out a bit about 'belties here
